L. W. Ellis loves history. As a professional archaeologist and historian for more than twenty years, her study of mankind has led her down some amazing paths, challenging her to see the world differently. She continues to be fascinated by the intricacies of the past and its continuing influence on the present. Through her explorations, she has learned that words have power. Author of numerous technical reports and journal articles, she’s taken her knowledge of science and southern history and ventured into the world of women’s and historical fiction.
